A wonderful teal green glass vase with ruffled top and applied enamel flowers and beaded decoration. There are also painted gold medallions surrounding the bottom of the vase above the base. Highlighted with a pulled ruffle top and slender body in what is often called a "trumpet vase", the bottom shows a "broken" pontil or unpolished pontil where the glass maker removed it from the rod after blowing.
The vase stands 11" tall
Circa: 1880-1900
Maker: Bohemian
Condition: No chips or cracks, minor wear to applied decoration mostly the gold etching. There is a 'pit' spot or dark inclusion at the top on the inside of one of the pulled ruffles, (see photo), original to the making.
