A beautiful mold blown, high relief hand painted cup and saucer set with an attached branch style handle, showing a mythological scene of a chariot carrying a man in a colored toga being pulled by swans in the water while a nymph appears sprawled on the waves as cherubs run along the side and back, possibly a Neptune Poseidon scene. The saucer shows different colored medallions along the entire border. A wonderfully executed Italian porcelain set. Does have a surface glaze type crack on rim original to the making, occurred during firing, priced accordingly in mint condition would fetch upwards of $350. Bargain priced due to the small imperfection.
