Worcester Tea Bowl & Saucer 1700s Flight Barr Period English Porcelain

A wonderful early 18th century Worcester fluted tea bowl with saucer both decorated with gold gilt scroll design on porcelain. We attribute the piece to be Worcester from the Flight and Barr period. In the 1780s Flight traveled to France and brought back with him new techniques, introducing the flute designs and sprig patterns, they were also able to perfect the use of gold gilt by adding mercury.

Unmarked with an applied old tape to bottom

No chips or cracks, wear to gold decoration

Measurements:
cup is 2" high; 3" in diameter. Saucer is 5" in diameter
