Limoges Punch Bowl Ravenwood Studios Sinclaire Hand Painted Primrose

A beautiful high quality hand painted punch bowl on a raised base and decorated with a large floral primrose design against a cream and green background with some raised enamel beading. The large bowl is further enhanced with gold trim on the bottom and top and on the interior edge.

Ravenwood was the pottery/porcelain division of H.P. Sinclaire Studios in Corning NY. The area was in operation from 1900 through 1914. Each porcelain piece was hand painted on imported blanks, many from top quality German and French manufactures, this being a French Limoges blank, and each marked with the black raven on a branch with the word "Ravenwood" scrolled below.


Measures: 13" diam, 7" base and 6" tall

Condition: No chips or cracks, no crazing, a couple of very tiny paint flakes on the side the largest, pencil tip size. Gilt wear to gold on the rims, not excessive and typical with age and handling.
