Limoges Porcelain Jean Pouyat Galois Style Pitcher Cherry Decor

A beautiful hand-painted Galois style pitcher by Jean Pouyat Limoges with dangling cherries, branches and leaves painted against a wonderful natural shaded background of green, tan, and purple. The handle has a raised beaded design with the rim having a gold gilt applied.

Measures: Center 7" diam, 4" opening, 5 1/2" tall

Marked: J.P. over L. France for Pouyat, Mark 5, ca. 1891-1932

Condition:
Excellent, no chips, nicks, crazing or cracks, some light wear to gold trim
