This exquisite C. F. Monroe Co. dresser box showcases the Helmschmeid Swirl mold design, a hallmark of early 1900s craftsmanship. Hand-painted enamel daisies adorn the opal glass top, complemented by delicate raised beading and a powder blue base that transitions to ivory. The piece features authentic brass ormolu hardware with a fully functional hinge and original satin-lined interior. Crafted from opaque milk glass during the golden age of Wave Crest production (1890–1910), this unmarked treasure exemplifies the artisanal decoration techniques that made opal ware so coveted.
