Ginori Doccia Capodimonte Cup & Saucer Set Mold Blown Bas Relief

A beautiful mold blown, high relief hand painted cup and saucer set with an attached branch style handle, showing a mythological scene of a chariot carrying a man in a colored toga being pulled by swans in the water while a nymph appears sprawled on the waves as cherubs run along the side and back, possibly a Neptune Poseidon scene. The saucer shows different colored medallions along the entire border. A wonderfully executed Italian porcelain set.

Circa 1830-1890

There is an inclusion on the rim, you can see a dark line, the line can not be felt by the finger, it is on both sides, the color appears to match the same paint used for the decoration, the interior looks like faded paint on the outside the paint is identical but very very close inspection shows a very small surface crack to the glaze only. Original to the making
