Rare Antique 1800s DERBY English Porcelain Chocolate Cup Saucer & Lid Imari Pattern

This Derby English porcelain chocolate cup, complete with a matching cover and stand, boasts a stunning Imari pattern and is adorned with intricate gold gilt. Its square double handles and gilt ring finial on the lid add a touch of opulence to this rare piece.

Mark: Painted mark with Crown above crossed batons and D below circa 1806-1825

Measures: Saucer: 6" diam, cup approx. 3 1/2" tall 4 1/4" across handle to handle

Condition: Top finial handle on lid has been professionally reattached, very old repair with label inside by company (Bernhardt of Philadelphia) detailing repair. Also some spider cracks to glaze on bottom, Shown under intense light to highlight issue, otherwise minimal wear to decoration, displays very well. Small issues for such a rare and complete piece.
