Art Deco Celluloid Hair Comb Black on Clear with Ruby Red Rhinestones

A beautiful vintage Art Deco hair comb in what is often called Mantilla or Spanish do to the high standing wedge style. The comb is made in two toned effect which is often called “celluloid overlay” showing the contrasting colors overlaid onto a base, In this case a translucent base has been given a shiny black upper coating and then cut into the intricate design and further highlighted with ruby red colored rhinestones.
