Antique French Ormolu & Green Onyx Double Bronze Inkwell Desk Set

This exquisite French desk set from the Belle Époque era showcases timeless elegance with its dual bronze inkwells and coordinating pen rest, all crafted from rich green onyx. Each hinged inkwell features ornate carved details and distinctive pinnacle finials characteristic of Louis XVI design. The beautifully veined onyx base includes a recessed channel ideal for holding writing instruments or correspondence. Condition: Very Good — Light wear consistent with age and use, Minor chips on the edges and missing glass inserts. One of the bronze inkwells has a small dent at the side and both could use a good cleaning but we choose to leave this up to the new owner as some prefer the "antique" look. This vintage/antique item may have some wear such as scratches and other signs of ageing.
