GRADING:
M ~ MINT : Card is in pristine condition like new with no writing, crisp corners, vibrant coloring (rare to find antique cards that fall into this grade)
NM ~ NEAR MINT : Nearly perfect postcard, corners are square and clean edges, no creases. Card could have slight natural yellowing from age. May be postmarked with writing on reverse
EX~ Excellent : Overall clean card with no creases, may have very tiny edge or corner wear, no ink bleed or distraction from image, may have some slight discoloring to paper from age, may be postmarked or have writing on reverse or at edge of front of card.
VG ~ VERY GOOD : This card is middle of the road with minor faults such as some corner wear and or edge wear. Postcard can be postal used or unused. Might have writing on front and or back, including light ink bleed that does not detract from image. This card could have some yellowing from age. There are no creases though the middle of card outside of edge areas, or if there is a crease it will be very slight or light, could have slight indentations in cards (album marks). The majority of cards fall into this grading area.
G ~ GOOD : This postcard shows more corner, edge wear and; or has more distinct creases. It could have a slight tear at edge areas. This card could be lightly soiled or more discolored from age and may or may not be Postal used.
F ~ FAIR : This postcard is damaged with a bad creases and wear. There could be a tear or missing corner. A postcard in this condition would be chosen for its image view to later be upgraded.
P~ POOR : This postcard is quite damaged with any or multiple issues of the following detracting from the card, tears, creases, stains, heavy discoloring or writing. This card is collected for simple rarity of the card or to be used for completion of a collection until the card can be found and upgraded at a later date. Also these cards can make good use for craft projects.
