Limoges Portrait Dresser Box Jewelry Casket Vanity Jar Artist Signed

Discover the refined elegance of this hand-painted Limoges porcelain dresser box from the Art Nouveau period, created by the esteemed Delinieres Co of France. This circular vanity jar captivates with its portrait of a woman—possibly Marie Bashkirtseff—inspired by Marie-Louise Breslau's artistic vision. Every detail speaks to meticulous craftsmanship: the pale yellow border frames delicate raised gold ornamentation accented with touches of blue, while the portrait itself showcases intricate rendering of lace collar work and elaborate hair styling. The interior glows with a soft pink or lavender finish. Bearing the signature of artist Ella Phipps and a date mark, this piece is a wonderful addition for collectors who cherish authentic vintage artistry and timeless decorative beauty.
