This authentic antique Halloween postcard captures the classic early 20th-century tradition of mirror divination on All Hallows' Eve. The front features an elegant Edwardian woman holding a lit candle while gazing into a mirror, revealing a smiling full moon face looking back at her. Accompanied by a charming Scottish-influenced greeting, "May ye hae a' Gude luck this Hallowe'en," and decorated with a beautiful bouquet of heather.
The reverse side reveals historical character with a handwritten pencil message, a clear circular postmark from Wareham, MASS. dated October 31, 1908, and an original one-cent green Benjamin Franklin stamp. A wonderful, spooky addition to any ephemera collection!
