Vintage Metal Enamel Mesh Whiting Davis Handbag Art Deco Flower Purse

This vintage Art Deco metal mesh handbag by Whiting & Davis showcases a delicate filigree brass frame marked with the brand’s signature. Its distinctive double-layered fringe and absence of an interior liner highlight its unique design. The clasp functions perfectly, complemented by custom initials “LM” below it. Measuring 7 1/4" by 5 1/2" (excluding handle), the purse features vibrant orange-red and blue hues with yellow floral accents on green stems. Dating from 1920–1935, it remains in excellent condition, with most enameling intact except for a small spot on one flower, and minimal wear on the gold frame edges.
