FRENCH Enamel Guilloche Bronze Foil Vase Scenic Hand Painted Maiden Signed Roy 11"

A fabulous French enamel and foil over bronze hand decorated guilloche vase in stick form with a beautiful young maiden hand painted on the front having a red foil dress and artist signed "Roy." A familiar artist signature scene on guilloche pieces of the late 19th century. Another amazing feature of this lovely crafted vase is its sheer size at 11" tall which is just not often scene of French enamel. An exquisitely cast piece with very little wear, she does have a spider crack to the enamel on the back side, typical of this type of material for its age and a tiny bit of oxidation at top where the bronze meets the enamel.

Circa late 19th century French

Measures: approx 11"

Condition:
Front image of girl with foil dress is free of damage, a spider crack to enamel finish on back upper area in white, close up photo above, a little wear to top of opening just below the metal cap, it appears to be light corrosion just below where the enamel meets the metal top, scratches to underneath bottom from shelf display. This is normal wear to these types of vases and do not detract from its beauty.
