The authentic backstamps on the reverse confirm its rich history. The large serving platter features a rare double mark: the green M R France Limoges factory mark of M. Redon alongside the dark gray L R L Limoges France decorating mark used by the celebrated 1920s firm of Lazeyras, Rosenfeld, and Lehman. Each individual plate carries the corresponding dark gray L.R.L. decorating mark, standard for their highly prized fish and game service sets.
