A wonderful 1920s period Halloween themed German porcelain figurine match holder of a black cat hissing at a small green frog seated at the edge of a lily pad type tray base. There is a hollowed out stump of a log behind the them that would work as a match holder. A rare piece in overall good condition for age. Marked on bottom with the black circle Germany stamp.

Condition: tip of one of cat's ear is nicked/chipped, a bit of paint wear noticeably on frog's leg
