A beautiful French art glass chrysanthemum enamel vase, featuring a bulbous base and elongated neck in a striking rubina cranberry hue that gradually fades to clear toward the bottom. The surface is adorned with finely detailed, multicolored chrysanthemum blossoms, complemented by elegant gold-etched stems and leaves. The glass exhibits a subtle ribbed texture and retains a polished pontil mark.
This enamel decoration is commonly attributed to Legras, St. Denis, or Mont Joye—well-known French makers of the period—though this particular vase form is less frequently encountered with this popular pattern.
Circa 1900, Legras St. Denis, Paris. Hand-etched “#6” on the base.
Dimensions: 11 inches tall
