Handwerck 28" Doll 119 Bisque Head w/ Stamped Composition Body

A beautiful antique child doll with bisque socket head standing 28" tall with fixed brown eyes, pierced ears and matching golden brown curly hair framing the prettiest creamy bisque face with an open mouth showing four teeth. She rests upon a fully jointed composition body. Head is marked 119-13 Handwerck Germany 5, the 119 mold is not as often seen and therefore a more sought after doll she also rests on her original stamped ball joint composition body.

Condition:
Doll is in overall Very Good to Excellent Condition. Head is free of hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. The eyes are stationary with the right missing her eyelashes, Body is in overall excellent condition with minimal wear to composition, fingers are undamaged but do have some paint wear. Doll looks to have had a restringing some time ago which is well done and allows for nice posing. Mohair wig looks to be original to doll, was glued down at some point which we removed to be able to pack the doll safely there is some glue residue to bisque head along the rim area. Clothes are vintage but not original.
