Antique German Doll Bisque Head & Composition Child Adolf Wislizenus AW W II 25"

A beautiful antique bisque doll standing 25" tall by Adolf Wislizenus fully marked on back resting on a wood and composition articulated ball joint body. This lovely doll has blue glass sleep eyes with blonde mohair wig and delicate hand painted features with an open mouth and teeth showing on top. Dressed in vintage blue dress with matching white bonnet. This is an early model by this hard to find maker. She appears all original except for her dress and hat.

Bisque head marked/incised AW W Germany II with what appears to be a "7" at the top of the back of the head

Condition:
Doll is in overall Very Good to Excellent Condition. Head is free of hairlines, cracks, chips, or any damage. eyes are clear and without damage, all paint is intact and shows no wear. She has a tiny scrape/scuff on her left cheek, body is original and shows some tiny splits in the wood with typical age wear, her mohair wig is original.
