A stunning early bisque shoulder head doll made for the French market, with a swivel head (more rare) and open dome having two holes at the top of the head versus the customary back. Her blonde mohair wig appears original and is securely fastened over the pate. She has pale bisque contrasting the plump facial modelling, blue spiral threaded eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, kid gusset leather jointed body with bisque forearms in wonderful original condition. Ears are pierced, she comes dressed for the opera complete with crushed velvet deep purple gown (handmade vintage), her pearl opera glasses, jewels, and her accent fan. Extremely well made with beautiful details.

Doll is in overall Very Good to Excellent Condition. Head is free of hairlines, cracks, chips, or any damage. Leather body is free of damage and hair appears original. Mohair wig is fashioned well and in good condition, also appears original. stationary eyes are free of damage. Costume and accessories are vintage and fine.
