Scarce Phoenix Glass Cranberry Opalescent Satin Finish & Cased Creamer in Drape Pattern

Stunning and scarce Phoenix Glass Co cased glass creamer in cranberry pink with white interior and applied clear reeded handle. The creamer is further enhanced with the rare Drape pattern set in 10 panel form with a slight raised exterior. The color is gorgeous with a deep, rich pink at top evolving down into a light pink at the bottom and having a square opening with a bulbous body and round, narrow bottom.

Circa 1880s Phoenix Glass Co, black pencil like writing on bottom Jan 13th 1904..possibly indicating a time of gifting

Measures:
4" T

Condition: Overall VG, tiny nick on interior of rim at spout area (not on exterior or through the glass), could be a grind mark original to the making but calling it out as a defect all the same.
Flaws: Some pitting with inclusion on handle in center (can see the sand deposit) & a tiny spot on edge of rim near handle area with a missed glaze spot.
All have been highlighted in the last image for closer inspection and then following an individual closeup of the issues

Known as Wheeling Drape for years, this misnamed 10 panel form is only by Phoenix Glass, the pattern is rightfully Phoenix Drape. The Phoenix Glass Company was never officially part of Consolidated Lamp and Glass. This however has been the misconception. Phoenix was formed in 1880 in Monaca, Pennsylvania and produced some of the most beautiful and sought after glass of its time.
