German Porcelain Cup Saucer Set Schumann US Zone Germany Mark

A fabulous porcelain cup and saucer set produced by the Schumann Porcelain Company Bavaria Germany.
The cup measures 3" wide while the plate is 4.50" diameter.
Both pieces are marked "Bavaria Schumann Germany US Zone" with the lion in the shield, dating the piece to 1945-1949, after WW II when the United States occupied Germany.
The plate has a delicate scalloped edge with both pieces having gold trim and a blue scroll decoration with red flowers set amongst the scroll.
