Limoges LARGE Scenic Charger Plaque JPL Pouyat Strolling Couple

Stunning early turn of the century, Art Nouveau Period Jean Pouyat Limoges porcelain charger plaque with a hand painted scene of a young courting couple.
Soft, pastel colors show a man and woman strolling down a dirt lane surrounded by large shrubbery, trees, and flowers with a white fence along the side. There is building in the distance, that looks to be perhaps a church with a dome roof.
The entire charger is trimmed in a rich gold scroll and scallop design along the rim.

Circa 1890-1905

Mark on back is listed as Green Backstamp "J P L Limoges France "mark used by Jean Pouyat from 1890 to 1932 Also marked with an embossed symbol to back center

Measures: 15" diam, 47" circum.

Condition:
Excellent, no chips, nicks, crazing or cracks. Minimal wear from age and handling
