Art Nouveau Large Antique Limoges Porcelain Dresser Box with Hand Painted Roses

A beautiful hand painted Limoges porcelain vanity dresser box with deep maroon and pink colored roses against a pale yellow background that fades to many shades of purple, maroon, green and orange with white raised enamel on the top. The top and bottom rim are painted gold with the interior white porcelain. Signed on the bottom B.L.B.C and marked 'Elite', a very heavy and large box weighing nearly 4lbs.

Dimensions: 8" Diam., 4" Tall, 3 lbs 14oz.

Circa: 1900 Art Nouveau Period

Backstamp: Limoges Elite, 1896- 1920, Artist Initialed on Bottom

Condition:
Overall Vey Good, there is two spots on side of lid that look to have been touched up at some point and a chip on the interior rim and exterior bottom (matching chip lines up) but only the bottom one shows when on display and has the gold painted over so it is not at all overly visible.
