This 4" jointed mignonette, made in Germany by J.D. Kestner (known as the "King of Dollmakers"), is really a beauty. Her hand-painted all-bisque body is very detailed and skillfully painted. She has blue intaglio eyes and pink lips with rosy cheeks. Her painted single-strapped brown shoes are paired with blue ribbed socks with darker blue lines at the top. She has her original long, slightly curly, blonde mohair wig and wears what appears to be her original dress. She is marked with the Kestner mold number: "516/1."
