Exceptionally rare and original, 1888 Mundell's Solar Tip Shoes For Children Chromolithographed Advertising Sign Child's Optical Mechanical Toy featuring a fantastic Punch and Judy Puppet Show with multiple, rotating scenes.
This very attractive and exceptionally rare American Chromolithograph Advertising Sign Give Away Paper Optical Toy Oversize Mechanical Trade Card printed on a light to medium weight, card stock.
The Sign features a wonderful image of children and adults gathered before a puppet theater to watch a performance of "Punch & Judy". The theater stage features a die cut "window" and a rotating disk attached with a central grommet can be turned to display different scenes from the tale of "Punch & Judy", last panel panel features text that reads "Compliments of John Mundell & Co. Philada, PA. / Every Pair of Solar Tips Warranted / Take No Imitations".

There is also an Advertising Sign for Solar Tip Children's Shoes on the wall to the left of the Puppet Stage. The Sign / Optical Toy is copyright 1888 by the lithographer who is identified only as "J.T.P."

Condition: Corner wear and a small tear at top, all have been taped on reverse with conservator tape to prevent any further damage, light edge wear to girl's dress that sticks out
