A beautiful Antique Chinese Silk Embroidered tapestry panel or robe sleeve, framed in a slick black frame with a brass mounted Asian themed hanger at top. The gorgeous hand stitched tapestry has what is referred to as the forbidden stitch, the stitching is so close together and so well done it was said to cause blindness the person executing it. The scene on the tapestry shows red sun over a mountain range with flying birds, a temple surrounded by trees and water, and traditional Chinese home with foliage along with a man in a canoe. Set against a golden background with intricate borders. Circa 1900-1920 2 ft long!
