Porcelain Jardiniere Limoges Bawo & Dotter Jardiniere Artist Signed Art Nouveau Rose Decor

A monumental and stunning rose decorated jardiniere vase on a pedestal base with figural lion or dragon type feet. The entire jardiniere planter is hand painted in beautiful tones of pinks and greens with some white and yellow blossoms with a chocolate brown background. Large blooming roses cover the entire piece front and back. Artist signed on bottom, gorgeous room decor!

Pedestal base is marked with the Green J P L Limoges France mark used by Jean Pouyat from 1890 to 1932. 
Jardiniere is marked with the P.H. Leonard Austrian Importer's hallmark used between 1890 and 1908. P.H. Leonard was an New York importer. This mark was used on the Vienna china line supplied by the Count Thun's Factory. Subsequently, when P.H. Leonard went broke in 1898 the mark was used by Bawo & Dotter who became synonymous with importing Limoges porcelain.
