Folk Art Painted Tintype Photograph Portrait of Young Girl Seated in Windsor Chair Circa 1860-70

Early hand painted tintype full plate photograph portrait of a young girl seated in a black painted Windsor Chair. She holds a thoughtful gaze with striking features, her black hair is parted in the center and she wears a petty polka dot blue dress with lace pinafores and striped stockings. To her right is table draped with a colorful cloth, a very well executed and painted tintype image in the Folk Art style circa 1860-70. Housed in an oval gold painted wood frame.

Dimensions: 13" Long by 11" Wide Frame; Tintype is a Full Plate 6 1/2 x 8 1/2"

Condition: No damage to note, frame shows some age wear and scratches to gold paint.
